This individual will design, configure and install Microsoft Windows 2003 and 2008 platform hardware and software solutions along with routers, switches, network analysis, firewall installation and remote management services. Analyze customer networks and provide solutions for new or upgrading existing equipment or software. Additional duties will include providing on-site and telephone technical support for Nex-Tech customers, along with educating customers in system operation and administration.

Educational Requirements: Associate’s/Technical degree and two years of experience, or the equivalent, installing complex technology projects. Microsoft MCSE, SonicWall CSSA and/or IBM/AS400 certification beneficial.

Community Development Representative – Northwest Kansas

This individual will establish and maintain effective Public Relations to enhance company image by participating in community, civic, and social events. Duties will include attending city and county meetings, maintaining booths at county fairs and home shows, working with schools, and making presentations at community and Chamber of Commerce activities. The employee will maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products and features to promote new and existing service offerings through direct customer contact. The employee will also ensure quality service and address customer issues.

Educational Requirements: Associate’s Degree in public relations, marketing, advertising, or a business-related field, or the equivalent, plus two years of public relations, marketing or business experience, or equivalent work experience. Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Advertising Representative – Lenora/Hays, Kansas

This individual will solicit orders for print and online directory advertising and other

upgraded listing data. Duties will include recommending various programs, ads, designs, and directory services; proofreading; and assisting with directory promotion and distribution. The employee will make occasional on-site sales calls.

Education Requirements: Associates degree in Marketing or related field, or the equivalent, plus three years of experience in telesales and/or premise sales. Yellow pages sales experience preferred.

Customer Service Assistant – Gt. Bend, Kansas

Nex-Tech is looking for an energetic career driven sales person who is ready to jump in and hit the ground running! Must be willing to deal with the public in a retail setting and able to work with a variety of personalities. Duties for this position will include using suggestive selling techniques to promote local and long distance telephone service, Internet, cellular service and other products and services. This individual will prepare customer contracts, obtain credit reports, process payments, address customer questions, process adjustments to customer accounts, and resolve customer billing issues. The employee will work with staff to ensure customer satisfaction. This individual must maintain proficient knowledge of company products and services and have excellent oral and written communication skills in order to assist customers. This position will require working some evenings and weekends.

Educational Requirements: High school diploma, or the equivalent, plus one year of customer service, telephone sales, or equivalent work experience preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) beneficial.
